Aghasi Tadevosyan

Aghasi Tadevosyan was born on 1966 in Yerevan. He graduated from the Department of History of Yerevan State University at 1991. He holds a PhD in Cultural Anthropology, certified by the Highest Certification Commission of the Republic of Armenia 1995. His main research interests are cultural transition and value transformation, modernization, anthropology of city and space, anthropology of social changes and poverty, civil movements and migration processes of post Soviet Armenia. He has authored and co-authored 18 monographs and more than 60 scientific articles published in Armenian, English and Russian languages. From the 2001 he is lecturer at the Departments of Cultural Studies, Archaeology and Ethnography of the Yerevan State University. He is also Senior Scientist at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Republic of Armenia and Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the University of California at Berkeley for the 2012-2013 academic year.
