Anoush Sargsyan

Anoush Sargsyan (b. 1971) is fiction and non-fiction writer. She is the author of two books;  the novel-essay The House Downward the Garden ( (Autobiographical stories revealing the Soviet life in 70-80s, “Granish" publishing house, 2018),  and the collection of prose Ano (“Antares" publishing house, 2021). She is the winner for best short fiction at 2019 Yerevan BookFest. She was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. She graduated from Department of Journalism, Faculty of Armenian Philology, Yerevan State University in 1993. She has participated in “International Standards of Journalism” training and “Cross Caucasus Journalism Network” 2003/2004 in Tbilisi organized by the IWPR London (Institute for War & Peace Reporting). Anoush Sargsyan is a member of the Union of Journalists of the RA since 1999 and Methodological Center for the Development of Intellectual Systems since 2007. Her short stories have been translated and published in Georgian, Persian, Russian, Romanian and English.
