Grig

Grigor Shashikyan (pen name Grig; b. 1991) is a fiction writer and literary theorist. He is the author of the story collection [Jesus’ Cat] (first edition 2015), and the children’s novel [Kidnapping that shocked the Cat's town] (2019).  He holds an MA in World Literature and Theory from Yerevan State University, where he’s working on his PhD since 2015. His stories are translated into German, Swedish, English and Russian. His book Jesus’ Cat is published in English (London, «Glagoslav Publications», 2019). He’s been awarded several local prizes for his writing, among them the prestigious President Prize in Literature.
